Leadership Descriptions
President
Serves as the primary leader and spokesperson of the chapter, overseeing all operations and ensuring the success of Beta Alpha Psi. Responsibilities include leading weekly meetings, coordinating the semester’s speaker schedule, managing relationships with professional sponsors, and overseeing competitions. The President also facilitates officer meetings, communicates important information to members, and provides motivation and accountability to the executive team and general membership.

Vice President of Operations
Leads the membership recruitment process, tracks dues, transcripts, and professional hour requirements, and ensures candidates stay on track to meet initiation criteria. The VP of Operations also manages the class visit and tabling schedule, maintains communication with potential members, and assists the President as needed, including assuming leadership duties when the President is unavailable.

Vice President of Activities
Organizes and manages community service initiatives for the chapter, working closely with local organizations to provide volunteer opportunities for members. The VP of Activities tracks service hours, informs members of upcoming outreach events and ensures engagement in service activities throughout the semester.

Treasurer
Manages the chapter’s finances, including tracking expenses, earnings, and dues payments. Responsible for entering new member information into the Beta Alpha Psi reporting system and ensuring the accurate documentation of professional and service hours. The Treasurer works closely with the VP of Operations and President to ensure compliance with BAP reporting requirements.

Promotes chapter events through flyer design and social media updates, ensuring engagement across platforms like Instagram and LinkedIn. The Social Chair creates weekly meeting flyers, coordinates social events such as semi-formals and movie nights, and assists in planning major chapter gatherings like the Thanksgiving Luncheon and Crawfish Boil. Additionally, they manage food planning for social events outside of regular Monday meetings.

Social Chair
Maintains the chapter’s website and social media presence, ensuring timely updates with event recaps and relevant information. The Webmaster attends all professional and social events to capture and post photos, collaborates with the Social Chair to keep members informed, and provides content for the Collat School of Business website when appropriate. If unable to attend an event, the Webmaster must assign a replacement to gather and post media.

Webmaster
Designed as an entry-level leadership role for younger members, Executive Assistants support various officers by assisting with administrative tasks, reviewing new member applications, and helping with event planning. They also take responsibility for organizing and ordering food for weekly Monday meetings, ensuring the chapter’s logistical needs are met.

Executive Assistant
Leads the Janet Herring Mentorship Program, recruiting both mentors and mentees while coordinating mentorship activities. The Mentorship Chair ensures that meaningful mentor-mentee interactions occur throughout the semester and provides support to participants as needed.
